Grandma finally got Max to take a bottle
(I don't know what happened- he used to be so good at it!)
We switched over to a Nuk nipple, and although it's still slow going, at least he doesn't just scream and spit it out.
He's actually having a hard time concentrating on eating in general, now that he's figured out this new "seeing" trick.
He likes to look at me and smile or talk after every gulp or two.
He is doing very well with sleeping, though.
His naps are becoming more regular,
and his big night sleep lasts from around 10 PM to 5 or 5:30 in the morning!
(Then he nurses once before waking up at 9.)
Keep up the good work kiddo!

(I know this is supposed to be a Max update, but Papa news is a bit more exciting than Max news at the moment!)

Tonight Grandma had a housewarming/meet Max party.
Max had a nice long nap before the festivities started so he was awake and good-natured.
He didn't seem to mind being passed from
person
to person
(to person
to person!!!).
Max also enjoyed reading with Mama and Ava.
I did not enjoy, however, the nearly unanimous advice that Max is eventually going to have to sleep in his own bed :-(
We were both excited to receive a REAL LETTER from Sean!!!
His spirits seem really up - yayayay!

Max is becoming more vocal (movie).
He "talks" to himself and to his toys and is laughing a lot more.
Also, Max and I received a letter with Papa's address while at OCS.
If anyone would like that address, please email me (clungren at hotmail.com) -
I'm sure he would appreciate the mail.
