Max attended his first beer-tasting party at the Whidbey Island Lungren's.
We stayed in the root beer corner.

The Mt. Erie Road & Trail Run was a Lungren family affair this year.
Pete and Tyler ran the trail race, and Grandpa and I ran on the road.
Danny also competed with us on the road (well not exactly "with" us...)
We were all pretty happy with our finishes.
Danny and I were the first male and female finishers in the road portion,
and Tyler won his age division.
I was happy to finish only nine seconds slower
post-Max than last year, pre-Max.
We celebrated with lunch at the Calico Cupboard.
And then with a loooong nap.
