Thank you Nana!

You know he's sick when...

(We did "make your own oatmeal cookie" - mix in whatever you want - and he decided to save his for after his nap.)

They're baaaack. Sean and the boys rolled in sometime around 1 last night. As predicted today was rough, especially since Max is sick, and it is a drill weekend for Sean. Vomit is a two person affair. The morning was actually great. Adi and I played in the "outside playroom" while the boys played in the real outside and then later joined us inside. They are both happy to see their sister again (and I'd like to believe, their Mama). And I was happy to have the camera back. Adi's cuteness seems to increase by the second.

Max was sick for the middle part of the day

but then felt a lot better after his nap. This is Max writing a list of food to choose from for dinner. He posted it on the fridge so that I'll know what to make. So helpful :-) What I can decipher: peanut butter and jelly (the "je" on top for jelly), noodles (what I was making for dinner, which prompted the list so that he could NOT choose it), soup with shrimpies, hummus with crunchies, and fruit. I have no idea what the last thing is. When Jack asked for some string cheese Max tried his best to prevent him from getting any because it was not on the list.

Bathtime is always great. Tonight was the first time I let Adi sit and play with her brothers. Usually we just wash her quickly before they get in. (Actually, usually we don't bath her. Details.)

The boys were asleep within minutes of getting in bed. Which is good because they really really need some serious sleep.

Sean promises he's going to write something so I'll only post one picture, but from looking through the ones he took, it looks like the boys did great on the trip.

The boys have been reeeeally sleepy lately, and kind of a wreck (okay, not kind of, reeeeally a wreck) as a result. Max started full day preschool (9-3) since I'm in school now, and Jack has just never been a good napper. So they tend to fall asleep in odd places.

The next few days will most certainly be even more wreckage-prone than usual because the boys spent the week with Sean in Washington, D.C. From what I can tell they've had a great trip (although neither one of them is very interested in talking to me on the phone), but not a lot of sleep has been had. They should get home in the wee hours of the night. (Sean I can't take any new pictures b/c you have the camera. But the picture frame on Max's bed in the first picture is of me and him together!)

Three days in a row? Yes, I totally rock. Here's Adi's first time being a big girl at the grocery store.

Here's Max and Jackie in the front yard while Sean cleaned out the garage. There're getting a little too big for the mini-pool and had to find new ways to entertain themselves.

The post-swimming picnic.

And some funny faces.
